Agricultural Research Extension Activities Update

More than 15 Extension Researchers from different research Centers of the Institute and Head Quarter came Together for the Discussion Forum of the Completed Agricultural Extension Research Activities, on November 18 and 19, 2020, At Hiruy Hall, EIAR Head Quarter. 

Completed pre extension demonstration (PED) and large scale demonstration (LSD) Activities Updates of different technologies were Presented by each Respective Center, Followed by Comments and Responses from the Participants. Feedbacks and Research Directions on the technical issues have Given During the General Discussion.

Tef, bread and durum wheat, sorghum, highland maize, malt barley, Faba bean, common bean, black cumin, sweet lupin, chickpea, and onion are among the technologies presented by the representatives of the centers as demonstrated to the farmers of different areas of the country.

The Research Deputy Director-General of the Institute, Dr. Diriba Geleti and AGP coordinator of EIAR Dr. sofiya kasa were Attended.

The Forum was organized by the agricultural extension and communication research directorate in collaboration with AGP.
